The 2009 Derby City Cup is the second stop on this year's US Gran Prix of Cyclocross. The local 'cross scene is booming and Louisville is already gearing up for the return of 'cross on October 24th and 25th, 2009. The weekend kicks off on Thursday with a clinic featuring Simon Burney and Amy Dombrowski at 5pm. Thing keep rolling on Friday afternoon with the Clif Bar Kids' Cross Clinic featuring the athletes of Team Clif Bar Troy Wells and Brady Kapius- free Kids ranging from 10-16!
Fans can get a headstart on the Weekend's fun by joining us for a Number Presentation Ceremony on Friday night at the BBC Tap Room at 636 Main Street in downtown Louisville from 6-8pm. Pick up your number for SATURDAY or register to race. Then, come on down to Champions' Park on Saturday where spectators can watch the race action, shop the Expo for the latest in cycling gear, grab a slice (or two!) of Papa John's Pizza and enjoy the fun! Racing begins at 8:30 am and the Pros take to the course at 1:45pm! See you there!
