According to the race info and registration, there are only two junior fields - UCI, and 10-16. Is there further breakup of the 10-16 race? I can't think of a better way of discouraging young _racers_ than having them compete in a meaningless field. Why open the races to 10 year olds at all? Have you seen 15 year old Benny Swedberg ride? I'm not suggesting special treatment, prizes, or even "participation ribbons." Simply a chance for young racers to compete against those of similar demographics and abilities. 10-13 is tolerable. 10-12, 13-14, and 15-16 makes the most sense. That's what we do in Seattle. That's what they run at Nationals. It's just about competition. Please comment. |

| Yes. The fields are scored separately. The 10-14 are scored as one race and then the 15/16 as a group. Hope this helps. |
